One X Portal Mobile Prefferred on Android

I have a IP Office 500 8.1 (63) with a OneXPortal running on Windows 2008 R2. OneXPortal is running OK. The User profile is set for Mobile.
I also have a Apple (IPhone) OneXmobile working fine, but whatever i do the Android wont work?

I have downloaded what I believe in the Android Play store, highest version 1.7.0.7620, Android phone is also the highest grade.
The Users OneXPortal is the latest release. Still wont connect to the Server.
I can ping the phone from any PC on the LAN and the OneXPortal server in the Administrator settings can ping the phone?
Would anyone have any suggestions?

Sorry about the long delay on the reply.

The Android phone settings
Andriod Version : 4.2.2
Connecting the Android phone on the local LAN Using the wifi for the Network.
The Android phone is connected as we can download from the wifi and also ping the phone.

I then Downloaded the OnXMobile for IPO Version 1.7.0.7620
I try to connect to the OneX Server using by entering the Server Name then a user who has full OneX Licences
User and the users Password. No Connection to server
I then tried to use the IP address of the OneX server to connect. Still no connection?

Any ideas.

What happens when you go outside of the LAN and use 3G?
It looks like a problem with using the FQDN internally.

I haven't tried outside the lab yet. I can try this week to see what happens. I'll update once I've tried.
