One-X Portal Call Assistant so slow....

Is anyone else having performance related issues with One X Portal 6.1?

The One X Portal Application Server is running virtually with lots of RAM with SAN disk access.

If I install the One X Call Assistant software, it is slow and laggy compared to Phone Manager Pro. The PC it is installed on is a high performance laptop with Windows 7, 4GB RAM, Core i5.

From what I can see, the call assistant is just a front end to the web version. It uses IE as the engine so that probably doesn't help either.

I would be intrigued to know what peoples opinions are between Phone Manager and One X Portal. Phone Manager just seems more polished, quick and very user friendly in a Windows environment.

Phone Manager is very good, the main issue people have with it is rolling out lots of instances can be a pain, personally I would take it over One X Portal anyday as you say it's far more responsive

I have had it too but it seems to work fine now.
It took up to 30 seconds before it started to dial.
It should work fine now.
