installed and configured Avaya one-x portal behind IP500v2
R6.0.18 -

able to open as user from either the server running one-x portal ( voice lan same subnet as IP500v2 ) and any other machine on the data LAN ( different subnet )

the issue is once the one-x portal user interface logs in , I get a Microsoft error pop up.

" your phone system is unavailable . please login again "

click OK closes the one-x portal connection -

not sure where and or what the issue is as the one-x portal is able to connect to the IP500v2 no problem.

name=Acme_demo

required license=2

what is the best practice for the port speed for the network connection to the IPO as the server running one-x portal is set to auto on the server and network side.

thinking perhaps mismatch port speed is the issue on the port that the IPO is connected too?

all ports are open & firewall is disabled on the one-x server.

user is defined as power user and the IPO is licensed for 10 power users but setting up this one first before enable others and add rtu lic down the road as this gets rolled out.

the lic is seen as valid in the IPO

if I can get this running it looks like a great feature for my end users.

cheers : )

Did you perhaps enabled some options on the 1xp users?
Do you CCR too?

Sarcasm, it's only one of the services I offer.

Try this. In you Browser use the IP address of the IP Office. 192.168.42.100.. You should get an Avaya LOGO back if the connection between The server and IP office is good.
