One-X Outlook plug in not refreshing

I have the Outlook plug installed everything works except the user status does not update and changes to contacts don't take effect unless I close and reopen Outlook. Is there a way to make it refresh?

How are you're exchange settings configured on the client side?

Try this on page 8 / 9 but it only works if outlouk webaccess is enbled on the server, this way you don't need a vpn to open you outlook mail. I'm not having any problems on 8.0 using the linux version.
