IP Office 8.1
Recent install, so all other applications are up to date. (VM -One-x - etc)
One-X portal running on Server 2008.
FQDN entered where it should be on the One-X portal.
Can see presence when another user is logged into One-x Portal.
Can see presence when another user is logged into One-x Mobile Preferred App.
Everything is perfect!!!
EXCEPT......................
When logged into the One-x Mobile Preferred App, Desk-phone users just show a Gray Presence Indicator.
Not the empty Presence Indicator, but rather it is filled in Gray.
I am standing next to the desk-phone, I see that it is on DND, yet on my Mobile APP the Presence Indicator just shows Gray.
I take the desk-phone off of DND, same thing...Gray.
I place a call on the desk-phone, same thing....Gray.
If I am out of the office using the Mobile app, I want to know if a Desk-Phone user is available or not. Or on the phone.
All other presence works with software apps, like One-X portal or One-x mobile.... Just not with a telephone endpoint.
Do I need R9 to make this work?
Is the simple answer that this just doesn't work that way?
Or am I missing something somewhere?
Should I put the FQDN in System/DNS/DNS Domain ?
Currently that entry is empty.
Loosing my hair!
Thanks in advance for any input.
