the usual fix for stuff like that
Reboot the one-x portal, the IP office, the firewall and whatever else is involved in the connection.

Check
1. IM/Presence server from one-X Admin,
2. Check the mybuddy presence in one-X user interface (in system directory)
If presence has worked for a while, check restarting onex service. If it helps and if you need to do periodic restart of onex service, upgrade to latest service pack (ideally of latest release).
