One-X Communicator and Symantec Endpoint Protection

Is anyone out there running Symantec Endpoint Protection (v11.0.3001.2224 in this case)and deploying One-X Communicator (5.2.0.10 in this case). I am seeing that when the One-X client is loaded, SEP appears to stop running. When the One-X client is uninstalled SEP immediately starts running again.

I am hoping someone else has come across this and can offer a solution as I have a large number of One-X clients that we are trying to deploy and this particular feature is a show stopper.
