I've downloaded 2.5 client software. I see there are several patches. Every time I go to install sp1 and/or sp2 I get an error stating the software is not found. Is there a patch in between that I'm missing? Or does someone know the exact sequence to get the newest 2.5 and SP?

Install 2.5sp1, install 2.5sp1 patch 1, install 2.5sp1 patch 2.

The trick with the sub-patches is to run the batch file, NOT the installer.

In other news, how stupid is their versioning on this product? Couldn't they have just called it "2.6" and saved a ton of confusion?

Also, any tips on getting this to work? It's very inconsistent.

What handsets are you running? ,, I found that my 9621g had to be administered as 9650 CM6.2 , but that was supposed to be sorted out after release 6 according to the docs i found.

2 questions.. What is the difference between 'IP Agent 9' and 'IP NonAgt 9'? What software is required to use those licenses. I downloaded 2.5 and when I take over a phone/agent ID I don't see it registered in either of those 2 categories.

IP agent 9 is the release in your licence file and I will relate to something like one x attendant , the Agent SC licences are the ones you will see utilised if you are in shared mode PC&deskphone using one-x-agent.

hmm.. I've loaded this on my desktop.. was able to get it working with a phone and agent ID. It's working 'ok'... there's some weird things it does, but that's for another day. I then installed this software on a separate machine, used the same information and it does not take over the phone/agent ID. It registers very quickly, but there's no control over the deskphone it's connected with. And it doesn't show the Agent ID associated with the extension. On the top left of the client on my working setup.. it shows ext/agent id (1234/1234). On this other machine it just shows the extension, but no controls over the deskphone. There's nothing different between the 2 pc's... nothing.

Ok so we are talking about the same thing.

You have one-x-agent installed and working on a pc with the desk phone taking audio calls ?

You say your working onex shows 1234/1234 how do you have a station and an agent with the same number (not Possible in cm) please clarify?

In the telephony settings screen Is you call server the address of procr or clan ?

Like wise on the telephony Tab settings what is your user type and place and recieve calls using filters set to.

On the agent tab on the settings screen what settings do you have ?

On my PC in the same scenario it shows the Base extn and registered (not the agent Id or duplicated station), so you should see the same.

Have you looked on the event logging tab set it to debug and run to view the log ?

The 1234/1234 was just an example of what I see on the working client.. the extension and agent ID's are different. 1234/4567. That client pretty much works fine. I can control the deskphone if I choose to youse the dialpad on the PC. The client that's not working just shows the extension number and not the agent ID. I cannot control the deskphone from that client at all.

The IP is that of PROCR on both.

I will try the debug view and see what it says. I have both PC's side by side and every single setting is the same only 1 of them is not working correctly.
