ok I am trying to create a new name (option 11)
LD95
REQ NEW
TYPE (ACCOUNTS) however it does not like name I was putting in this takes me back to type????

type name at the name prompt than it will ask for extension number put in extension number hit enter than type the new name. If a name already exists you will have to out it first.

ok I have the book I guess what I am getting confused is why it is not taking the name, there was no name on this should I do a out just to make sure? I have printed everyones response and will attempt them but reading the book it should just go through until i get to this name

your right, if you prt the name and it's not named then the only other problem i could see is, is the dn in your switch?that's the only way i can think of if ld 95 will not take a name, unless the name is *jim.. the star might not work
