? on restore folders

I have recently purchased a new set of tapes,
and recreated all my backup routines.
But I have a strange problem.

I have full daily backup that copies everything I need over night, it works fine Monday-thrusday, but on Friday
it completes the task successfully, but if I goto to retore anything from that date, it does not show anything under the drives, and the directorys show a ? on the folders.

What does that mean and why isn't it working.

I am trying to have a months deifferent Friday tapes, 1-4.

Any suggestions?
