ON-HOLD SYSTEM

Does anyone know of an on-hold system that can be dialed into and have the music/message downloaded to it remotely? We have a company that does our music/message each month and then sends a tape to me to upload in our current system. Any help would be appreciated....Thanks

Take a look at IMS Telephone On-Hold Player. It runs on most Windows platforms, so you can use PCAnywhere, or VNC to remote to it. It can be configured to automatically download music and announcement files from the internet. The application is very configurable and very cheap (about $60). The web site for this is

I've used a company called powerhouse productions which gives you an 8 minute digital playback device which has an analog port. Plug in an analog line, and they dial in once a month and change the recording. They can also adjust volume remotely. If you use them or not, just proves there is a device out there as you describe.
