Is there a way to make the phone speaker beep after a call is on hold for a period of time, kind of like reminder?

Do you mean something like a "Hold Timeout" ?


Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

Basically, yes. I see now there is a setting for hold timeout that will ring the phone that held the call. That will probably have to do the trick.

I'm sure thats set by default, along with the park timer, which does the same thing.
