Hi people,
I have recently had to replace my motherboard with a QDI - KuDoZ 7.
It's all working fine, except I've discovered it doesnt have the ability to stream sound down a 5:1 speaker set-up.
Is there anyway I can manipulate this, so either I get the same sound data-stream through every speaker or some driver/software to recreate the 5:1 surround effect????

Thankyou for your time,
Oxy

we are all of us living in the gutter.
But some of us are looking at the stars.

Do you mean that the mobo doesn't have the facility to provide more than a stereo pair of outputs from it's onboard sound chip?

Probably the cheapest solution is to buy an OEM Creative Audigy player for about £30. I use one for films, games and music production and think you can't go wrong for the money....

R U sure this motherboard doesn't have onboard 5.1?
I seem to remember that it does?
It could be a simple setup in the sound control panel, have you definately loaded the driver and sound utilities? if so it should be a simple check box to change the settings from 2 to 5.1 speaker system.
