Please help asap. I am completely shut down on a project. I am running Access 2000 and VB 6.0. I copied some VB 5 code into my project to do the autofill magic (like quicken). I then decided to go ADO. I erased the VB 5 code, but now when I try to add the MS ADO data control, ver 6; I get the i message - "OLE Server is not registered. To register the OLE Server, reinstall it." Okay, so I decide that the ADO data control needs to be re-registered, so I unregister the files msado15.dll and msadodc.ocx and re-register them with regsrv32.exe. Now I get the message - "You don't have the license to use the ActiveX control".
First of all, did I register the right file? Is that where the ADO data control resides? Second of all, why don't I have the license to use a MS ADO control? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I already have a ticket with MS but I need help now. Thanks
