Hi,

Big Jim Here:

I am getting an error message which is telling me to check my OLE DB status value, if available.

What is a OLE DB status value, where would I find it, and what would I do to check it?

Thanks in advance...

Big Jim

There doesn't seem to be a lot of information around about this. What sort of thing are you doing that generates the error?

bperry,

Thanks for responding. My error comes from working in (oh man, I have this at work, not at home) DTS (where you set up ODBC and create processes).

Anyhow, I just go to click on one of my Access connections and it generates the error. No error comes about when I actually run the tasks, just when I edit them. No runtime errors I suppose is the best way to put it.

Thanks again for responding.

Big Jim

There are some folks in this forum who are very good with DTS. I suggest you start a new thread, describing the problem again, but with a subject line like, 'Help with DTS & OBDC error'. Then you'll get the DTS people interested.

(It's a lot like fishing, you need to lure them in with a helpful and interesting subject line. I suspect you didn't get many responses because no one knows where to begin with this.)

Also, there's the DTS site, that might have some helpful resources.
