I have a 403 and VMPro. It still works great and does everything I need. I have an employee who will need to work from home and I want to set them up with a VOIP phone to be on our switch.
Can anyone give me direction on what I would need to get? I know I need a VCM card. What phones can I use? Do I need to get a addon license (where would I get one)? What ports are required to be opened on my firewall?
Thanks!
David

VCM card, a VPN capable router for the remote worker and system side, you will need to use a 5610 and a POE injector for power :-)

Great! Seems pretty simple. Thanks!

If you have VMPro you should have a VCM card (or inbuilt perhaps - don't know about IP4xx) already.

I disagree, VMPro does not need a VCM card.

Indeed, VM Pro does not require VCM resources, it operates on the TDM bus :-)

It's unlikely to be applicable, but 56xx series need 3.0+ firmware

Take Care

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

Thanks for the heads up! I'm on 3.2+
