Here is a tricky one. We have been integrating sites over the past few months. We have installed tie lines between the offices and configured them as ISDN so that we can send the calling name across them. Works great, however how can we also get the calling number displayed as well. We did not use DCS because of overlapping numbers. We cannot simply just tell the system to display the 4-digit extension where the call came from because it will cause some confusion. Here is what I have tried so far, I allowed CPN on my station. Changed the ISDN number display so that if I place a call to another office they will see the aar code (in this case what we did was assign and AAR access code, and then gave each site a different 3-digit code). For example I want to call our office in Chicago, I dial 5-204+4-digit extension. Works great and I can either show my name to Chicago, or I can show my site code (200)+my 4-digit extension number. But this unfortunately will not work, we want both the show in receiving parties display. In other words, show calling name plus calling number. We use 6400 series sets and it may be that the display is limited, just my guess though. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi ,
You can try to change isdn public o private command and fill the right parameters , otherwise You can set to f the supplementary service protocol in the tie trunk on both pbxs .
I hope this is helpfull .
