Offline synchronization in large mailboxes

Has anyone else experienced any problems with outlook2000, offline synchronization, Exchange5.5? We have about 3500 users of which a handful cannot synchronize. The only common factor is large mailboxes 300mb+
Can not see how it can be antivirus as other users with the same config are ok. Have tried recreating profiles too. Anyone help? Much appreciated.

We run Outlook XP, and I have similiar problems. Only problems are with the large mailboxes. The odd thing is when I looked closer, every time I attempted to sychronize, about 10-20 more e-mails would synchronize and become available offline. I guess I only have to synchronize 13000 more times
