We have a new user who had a laptop that he wants to be able to take home and do some work. All our "My Document" folders are redirected to a network share. So I turned on Offline Files, and went to properties for his My Documents, and clicked on "Make Available Offline". After about 5 mins of syncing. It says its complete. I unpluged his network cable, and his wireless card. Then I opened up his My Docs, and all the files are there. Just tells me that the computer is working in offline mode. GREAT!!! He took his laptop home, and opens up his my docs, and nothing there. If he clicks on the desktop icon, "Offline Files" all his files are there. No folders, just all the files that are stored in all his folders. I don't understand. The only thing I can think of, is when he gets home, he plugs in to his router (no connection vpn or otherwise to work). Is it possible that because he is back online, that it sync isn't working right? I would think not, because there is not connection to the domain at all.

Only ask questions with yes/no answers if you want "yes" or "no"

I did all that when I first setup the laptop for sync. But it still isn't working when he connects his lappy to the internet at home. Need a "Work Offline" button somewhere for Explorer, like there is for IE.
