I have set up offline files on my laptor and this works ok with my server that is running small business server software. The problem is that although I ask for sub folders to be included, when you view it on the laptop only the main folder is present and all the files are viewed without the sub folders maaking it almost impossible to find a file.

Any help please.

Tony.

If you have redirected your My Documents folder to a network location. No matter which option you use, the subfolders are made available offline".

Subfolders Are Always Available Offline

"By default, Offline Files only caches the files in a folder marked for offline use. In other words, when a user right-clicks a folder and selects “Make available offline,” only the files in that folder—not the subfolders—will be available. Users don’t always realize this, since most operations on a folder do cascade down to subfolders. Fortunately, you can control that default behavior through Group Policy, either centrally from Active Directory or locally through a client’s Local Group Policy Object".
