I have purchased OfficeXP professional and installed it on my machine. Since then I have developed an issue not relating to OfficeXP but it requires me to format my machine and reinstall. How can I do the install of Office again without recieving the "Product already registered" code. Is there a phone number you can call to give them a different number like off the package or the disk itself. I mean there has to be a way to reinstall it if you have purchased it. Right ?

If all hardware is the same on your computer, then should be no problems when you reinstall Office XP with regards to license activation.

This is an issue if you installed a new hard drive.

I am not installing a new a hard drive, but in the future I plan on it, any ideas for then.

Then you would need to call Microsoft at some 1-800 number. They will give you a new license key, and probably deactivate your old license key.

Don't have the number for you, but once you install Office XP on your new hard drive, it will come up and tell you. You will then have about 40 or 50 startups of your XP software to enter your new license key before the product deactivates.
