office 97 with win2k

Hey guys.....im having a problem with office 97 and win2k, the situation is that office will work good for a couple of weeks and then all of a sudden you will go to open a word doc and it will take 5 minutes if at all to open the document. I have installed service pack 2, does anyone know of any patches that I may have missed or anything I can do to fix the problem. Thanks in advance!!!
