Office 97, NT4.0, Sp6a, Unicode characters

I've got a dozen mahines running Office 97 Sr2, NT4.0, SP6a. Some of the
machines receive errors when opening any files that include spaces in the
file name. I've read a KB article about this. It didn't explain what was
happening in this situation, because I've got some machines that work and
others that don't. All the machines have the same Office version, OS, and
are all at the same SP level. Any ideas????

Perhaps this is stating the obvious, but did you check on the support for long filenames on each of the machines in question?
