Office 365 install causing issues with One-X and CMS Supervisor

I'm trying to get details, but I'm told that the installation of Office 365 is causing issues with one-X Communicator and CMS Supervisor from running properly after O365 is installed.

Hearing that there are dll issues and other things (still waiting for details) and the only resolution they have found so far is to reinstall the application.

What part of O365? Like installing Office?

Package they are installing will update any Microsoft Office apps you have on your PC to the 365 version including Outlook, Skype, Excel, PowerPoint, Notes, Word, Access, and Publisher for example.

That makes sense... I always thought CMS Supervisor was backward compatible. Try 19.2? You can't be the first guy to use CMS Supervisor on a PC with O365

The reinstall of the current version we have will fix the issue, just trying to see if there are alternatives to a full installation or reinstallation for all users. Of course, getting what the actual errors are that they are encountering would certainly help.

The error message they are getting is: Error 339: - Component 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"

They can run the following command to fix this: “regsvr32 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Avaya\CMS Supervisor R19\mscomctl.ocx"”

I did put in a ticket with Avaya support, but they are taking the route to install the latest version of CMS Supervisor then install O365, despite that there is no documentation that it will prevent the issue from happening.
