Hello
I am writing to ask for general advice about Office 2000 and Office 2003.
I have Office 2000 installed on my PC and, over the years, I have created quite a few files in Word 2000, MS Access 2000, etc.
I am hoping shortly to install Office 2003 and wonder if my Office 2000 files will be safe. Will I be able to open them with Office 2003? For example, a document created in Word 2000. Can I open it in Word 2003?
Also, do I need to uninstall Office 2000 before installing Office 2003, or will Office 2003 simply 'sit' on top of Office 2000 (or go over it)?
Before I take the plunge and actually install Office 2003, I would be grateful for advice on any other pitfalls which installing it may entail.
Cheers and thanks.
