I have a MICS with version 6 and a PRI card attached to a T1 with 12 channels. I wanted to confirm my idea that doing outward dialing through the system would be impossible because I do not have the cards for it. I was looking at thread799-918733 for the howto.

What Kind Of Outdialing. Forwarding a call can be done if you are using routing. Forwarding an extention externaly by turning on redirect line in capibilities. Out dial from a mailbox is turned on in VM admin under the MB .

This would be calling in on one channel of the T1, and then being handed a second channel to dial out for remote users to call from the "Call Center". I have a primitive system working now using a VOIP system's FXO port connected to an ATA2, giving me the ability to have remote users operate the system via a VOIP client. However I would like others with just cell phone access to do the same thing. Thanks

Are you trying to give remote users (on cell phones) the ability to dial into the system, then get return dial tone to make an outbound call using the phone systems resources? If this is what you are trying to do this is a feature called DISA. Direct Inward System Access. Look in the book to set DISA up and if you have questions, reply back.
