1.My OE6 address book main identity screen detail view (the one that lets you scroll/search/select from a list of contacts) includes the columns NAME, E-MAIL ADDRESS, BUSINESS PHONE and HOME PHONE.
Can I add and remove columns from this window? For example, I would like to add DEPARTMENT and BUSINESS and drop HOME PHONE.
2. Can I make the address book initially pop up maximized?
3. Can I edit fields in my OE6 address book as a table rather than as a form, one contact at a time. My current method requires exporting my address book addresses to a csv file, editing with Excel and reimporting. There must be an easier way!
4. Can I use an Excel spreadsheet and/or other types of files rather than the Address Book .wab file as the data source for my OE6 address book?; Alternatively, can I open the Address Book .wab file using Excel or Access? ODBC map .wab to Excel? Is there a better way?
5. Wish list - define a unique key (record identifier) to the address book other than contact name.
6. Wish list - add new fields (eg CONTACT TYPE) to the address book.
7. Wish list - add field validation.
Any ideas on methods, alternatives or tools would be appreciated.
