Has anybody heard of an executable file in WinXP called "OE Loader"? This thing keeps trying to access the internet from my PC and gets blocked by my firewall. I've only been noticing it for the last couple of days when I'm using dial up. I can't find anything online about this.

OE sounds like Outlook Express. If Outlook Express is trying to download email at a timed interval, it will try to connect to the internet.
Is it Happy Hour yet?

That's what I thought too but I have my account set up in Outlook. I've been doing a search for it online but there seems to be no tangible information on it. The reason it's kind of creeping me out is because I got one of those phone dialer things put on my computer and it charged an international call to my phone. Fortunately I was able to disconnect before it made a decent connection. It's been ever since then that I've noticed OE loader.

Howdy:

I run XP Pro and use both Outlook Express and Outlook and I DO NOT have anything called "OE Loader" anywhere on my system.

I suggest you forget about it having anything to do with Outlook Express and follow Linney's advice !!
