Greetings,

It seems that even when you specify a number format for a field in a group header, it is ignored. I specified the pure integer format (5555555) no commas, no decemials, no negitives...never had a problem using this formating feature before in the details section.

Anyway, even though i specify it for the group header it's not working correctly. It shows correctly in the preview (5555) but if you use print->export a comma is used (5,555)

It's really odd...=(

any ideas? has this happened to anyone else?

Formatting may not apply to that export, but the point is, POST what format you are exporting to, Crystal supports over a dozen of export types and each has unique behaviors.

Also remember to post your software version in any post.

Crystal 8.5, reporting from an ODBC connection to a progress database.

Exporting to CSV, it just seems odd because I have never had problems with exporting the correct number format in the past...only now that the number is in a group header

Thanks!
