ODBC Error Code S1T00

I am using SQL statements inside Cold Fusion, running queries to AS400. I'm getting occasional errors, but they are too sporadic to duplicate. All I see are the error reports from the users.

Here's the message:

SQL State = S1T00
Message = ODBC Error Code = S1T00 (Timeout expired)
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Timeout expired
The error occurred while processing an element with a general identifier of (CFQUERY), occupying document position (10:1) to (10:97).

The Distribution agent ignores errors on pre-creation commands and runs into errors on creating the table:

ODBC SQL Server Driver S1T00 &quot;Timeout expired&quot;
2714 &quot;There is already an object named '%.s' in the database.&quot;
If you look into the error detail, the following message appears:
Last action: Timeout expired
Last command: CREATE TABLE &quot;table&quot; ...



CAUSE
If the pre-creation command fails due to an error, the Distribution agent ignores the error and the .SCH file that contains the &quot;create table&quot; command is run to create the table if it does not exist. The Distribution agent did not check the errors on the pre-creation command.

Hi there:
I tried to pass a query from a VB app which has a JOIN among three tables against a SQL Server DB(7.0). I am getting an errot

Timeout Expired Runtime error-80004005

Any explanation why this is happening?
Any workaround for this problem ?
