Guys....
I'm guilty of cross-posting, but I don't think I was in the right forum earlier.
I'm new to this forum - so if its been asked before - I didn't know ( and couldn't find it)
We run a MSAccess2 process on Windows 2000, which refers to Sybase tables for a report via a form.
Unfortunately, we have non-Engish characters on the table
(addresses) which ODBC can't interpret. The error returned is the Sybase generated error 2204 where unknown characters are supposed to be set to a question-mark(?).
Is there some setting required on the PC to avoid this failure?
TIA

Don't worry - I fixed it another way !
I found all the 'foreign' characters on the db table, and replaced them ( Only 55 to do ) - so now there's no error !
