I am wondering why I can telnet to my Serenade system but cannot to my Aria systems. Is this an option or is it the way the system is designed?

There is not a direct telnet conection to a 250. Although there is a LAN port, the system does not have a built in telnet application. You will need to use an external terminal server to connect to one of the SMT ports on the 250. The set up a telnet connection to the terminal server, which will be connected to the SMT port.
