The easiest way to record prompts for a V-Tree is to logon to a mailbox that has the "Supervisor" feature enabled in the Class of Service. Then logon to the mailbox and press 9 to use the Supervisor functions and then you can record the prompt associated with the V-Tree.
Thanks much. We have done that and recorded the greeting, but now when you call into the v tree, even though the message was recorded successfully, they still hear the old message. Is there a step that she is missing?
You probably need to clarify whether they recorded a "greeting" versus a system "prompt". You can record a greeting for a V-Tree mailbox, but the V-Tree doesn't normally use the mailbox greeting, it is setup to use a system prompt that you define when you press the Visual V-Tree button on the mailbox screen and are in the Visual Architect program.
Maybe they are recording it as a greeting or maybe they aren't recording the right prompt??
