Obtaining VFP 5.0a

Is it possible to downlaod the upgrade/service pack to go from VFP 5.0 to 5.0a? I tried downloading the Visual Studio SP3, but it would not upgrade my stand-alone copy of VFP 5.0, saying I did not have a qualifying product.

Did you actually install VFP 5.0 on this system? (As opposed to copying files to it, or upgrading the OS after VFP 5.0 was installed.) If yes, then the VS 97 SP 3 (as described at

Upgraded the workstation to Windows ME some time before trying the upgrade to 5.0a. Does this cause a problem with the VS 97 SP3 install?

It could have, sometimes when upgrading OS's, the Product Identity registry information can get "lost". In this case, I'd start by re-installing VFP 5.0, then trying the SP3 update.
