NWMKDE-59 1

Environment: NW5.1 with SP7 installed

The following error message appears on the console:

NWMKDE-59: The log segment file SYS:/SYSTEM/MKDE/LOG\00000123.LOG cannot be created.

I read some of the old segment files and there is only a string in each of them. The error message keeps on showing on screen every 10 minutes. Any clues?

then see what gets put into it - may give you an idea
