I have a compaq server running NW 5.1.
It has 3 users on it.
The last time I set any user up was about a year ago.
Today, I tried to add a new user and I could not do it.
I went to ConsoleOne, but the only thing I saw was "My World" and under that was "NDS".
I did not see the server or context or orgaization.
I am not too sharp with NW 5.1.

Help! Thanks in advance.

All the users login everyday and nobody has any problem or error.
I login in under admin. I could login inany of the workstation.
I just can't see the tree in Console1.

Are you running c1 on the server itself? Because when you're on there, you have to hit one of the buttons on the toolbar.. then it will ask you to authenticate to the tree. Once you're authenticated you'll be able to see stuff.

But nobody uses it from the server. It sucks. If you're logged in from a workstation, and running c1 from the public directory on the sys volume, you should be able to see the tree.

You may be better using NetWare Administrator from a Workstation. Can be found in SYS:pUBLIC\WIN32 and the EXE is NWADMN32.EXE

Thanks guys.
I was running C1 on the server, because someone took, (stole) my admin workstation.
I had forgotten the NWadmin application filename.
When you don't do this often, you tend to forget things that you don't think you'll forget.

Appreciate the quick help. :)
