Numlock problem

I've got a user with XP SP2 on a Netware 5.0 network running client 4.9 SP1.

When she boots up, the numlock is on.

When the Novell logon comes up it goes off.

Is there a setting for this somewhere?

Not that I'm aware of.

I've noticed it happens when I rebuild a Dell PC.

We've since upgraded to Netware 6.5, but I don't think that matters.

I have seen it happen when a laptop is connected to a docking station with an external keyboard, although this is a laptop operating system config issue rather than anything wrong with the NetWare Client.
