Odd Issue.

After the pc shuts down, AND powers off.. The LED on the keyboard for the Num Lock key, lights up and remains on constantly!

If i unplug the keyboard and plug it back in ( with the Machine powered down..) the LED turns off and stays off if i plug it back in.

Is this a Power Supply issue? Or Keyboard issue?

The Keyboard works fine otherwise.

Just wondering if anyone has seen this before.

Thanks in advance!

The last three mobo's I've used do this. I figured that it was just an indicater that the 5v. line was active (just like the one on the mobo).

It makes you wonder what "turn off" really means.

Have you seen a TV or sterio made recently that really "turns off

The 5v line stays active so the momentary push button on-off works. It also powers the "sleep/awake" buttons on multimedia keyboards, wake on lan/phone, as well as USB peripherals.
