Does anyone know how to withhold the out going number via a SIP Trunk.

On ISDN you simply add W but what do you do for SIP?

Depends on the providor so call them what to use.

Mostly they use "anonymous"

Create a new sip uri instead of the word "use user date" or "use auth name" enter enter the word "anonymous" without "s (for all 3 pull down menu's).

Give it a new outgoing line id and create a shortcode in the ARS over the Line ID.

In the UK I just added 141 to every number dialed ...

It's also in our SIP providers instructions for withholding numbers!

Within the same SIP network it comes in as anonymous ..

If you give me a SIP number to call I'm quite happy to test ...
We're using voip.co.uk
