Are there any numbers you can't use when setting up the DID numbers with the Telco? Like in Merlin you can't use 7000 for example.
 
there aren't any limitations on the IPO side, but from a best practice side you probably want to avoid 9000 ranges (with 4 digit internal dialing)if you plan to use 9 to dial out. There is an obvious conflict.

I am building a system right now for a customer that has a did range of 0100-0199...and they want to maintain 4 digit internal dialing. The IP will work just fine with extensions starting with zero, but i ran into a problem using the MSN configurator and the Wizard where they wanted to drop the 0 on the front. So i ended up having to do them both manually. Also some customers my like to have an internal "0" for the operator defined (done with shortcodes)...in this senario, that wouldn't be possible.
