Number of Scripts per page?

Is there a limit to the number of .js scripts one can have on any single page?

Are there 'positioning' parameters to consider when placing say more than one horizontal java nav bar - say with one in the usual place and another half-way down the page in a table for a different set of links?

I know of no limit to the number of scripts (functions) you can place on one page. The main thing to remember is to avoid conflicts between them though. naming conventions etc. variable and elements must be named separately in order for the scripts to work independently and uniquely A language that doesn't affect the way you think about programming is not worth knowing.

Much appreciated. I've tried to make sure everything is named correctly but I must have left something undone someplace.

I'll try and work it out.

I'm trying to put three separate scripts on just the homepage in my testbed site (just two on the other pages) and everytime I navigate back to that page from any of the other pages one of the scripts breaks and I need to refresh the page to get that script to show.

Good practice anyway.
