Is it possible to format a real number, like setting the number of decimals, the decimal separator ("." or ","), the thousand separator, etc... Thanks!
 
No. I mean, no, there isn't a specific operator that will do this for you. You have to manually create a string, a digit and character at time, if you must.

Most PostScript is application-generated, so they do the number formatting, and pass the final string into the PostScript.
