I backup an windows2000 Server with an logged in user.
For this user i habe a warning in my legato message file
see subject.
I dont like warnings because we have an bigbrother system
and i have the warning in my mail.
I'm an unix user and our windows administrator say that
are important file (ntuser.dat.LOG and two others)
skipping it is not the solution.

the ntuser.dat is the file in which the user depending registry settings are saved. this file is opened and locked when you are logged in and cant be backed up without the legato module for backing up open files.

create a shedule for your backup job and log off. use the networker administrator from a remote client to check your backup server.
