We tried but our CS1000 was having issues so now we just adjust it manually - but we still have to look into trying to get it to work - someone please post if you have an idea
There is a patch that needs to be installed for daylight savings to work properly. The 5.0 patch was MPLR20864 and had Special Instructions and required an INI of the switch.
The special instructions were:
1. DST settings in LD 2 must be correct for FWTM and BWTM and DST set to "ON". Example: .tdst SDST ON FWRM MAR 2 SUN 2 (AT 02:00 8/3/2009) BWTM NOV 1 SUN 2 (AT 02:00 1/11/2009)
2. Patch must be applied with thresholds set to survive INI or SYSLOAD.
3. DST checkbox in Element Manager (if equipped) must be unchecked.
4. NTP setting for UTC offset should match the UTC offset with DST NOT in effect.
5. After patch is applied, system should be warm started (INI).
