The Nt machine boots great until you get to the logon screen. When you press Ctl-Alt-Del a screen with the messager: <winnt root> /system32/ntoskrnl.exe not found.
How do I start the computer to a Dos prompt and copy this file back to the right directory or how do I get it from my Nt disk?

After you choose which installation to use, a screen will come up asking you to hit the spacebar to boot to the "Last Known Good". After hitting spacebar, arrow down, hit enter.

If that doesn't solve it for you...use your rescue disks.. I pledge to share any information I have and advise to the best of my knowledge based on the information provided.

Started working again on its own. Guess it was just mad that day and refused to work like the rest of the employees. Thanks for you help and responses.

Something isn't right there....
You dont get a major error and then it fixes itself.
Make sure you have a data backup!
