IP Office is 500V2 running 5.0
VM Pro software level is 5.0

Trying to get generic voice mail to email to work. Keep getting error 17 on debug (failed to resolve host)
Customer is using exchange 2010 with NTLM2 Authentication.

Question is: Does 6.1 support 2010 exchange and NTLM 2? Will an upgrade work or is there something I can do with what they have to get VM to email to work?

One way...

To start I want to make sure we have a compatible receive connector setup on your Exchange 2010 server. If you open the Exchange Management Console and expand out Server Configuration > Hub Transport.

1) On your Receive Connectors tab and a new connector and call it Voicemail.
2) For Remote Network settings delete the standard 0.0.0.0-255.255.255.255 entry and add the IP address of your IP Office and Voicemail Pro server instead.
3) Once the entry is created double click on it.
4) On the Authentication tab select Basic Authentication, Exchange Server Authentication and Integrated Windows Authentication. (although none of this really matters)
5) On the Permission Groups select Anonymous.

In the IP Office and Voicemail Pro we then want to tell the unit that it does not require a username nor password to send the voicemail messages.

This will let you use VM to Email and Alarms from IP Office
