I am attempting to backup to a Western Digital removable Hard drive (250 GB) my entire back up is 67 gb uncompressed on DLT, but since the DLT drive is in the shop...need to continue backups.

We normally use Veritas Backup Exec 8.6, but it had problems even recognizing the drives existance. I felt it would be better to (temporarily) use ntbackup until we gat the DLT running again.

Any ideas on getting the (USB/Firewire) Drives to accept more than 8 GB from NT Backup?
