nt4 migration

i have a site that has a single nt pdc
the server is old and low on space etc.

i want to replace the server with a 2003 server.

am i correct in saying that my path is
1. install a bdc
2. promote the bdc to pdc
3. upgrade this server to 2003
4. install my new server straight as 2003
5. seize the roles from the original 2003 server
6. remove orig 2003 server
