Ive got a problem trying to get users
from a Trusted Domain to connect to a
TS via WAN (ISDN) link -

when they connect, the TS session freezes,
although other users are unaffected.

I'm pretty sure that the communicatons are
ok, as if they log into the TS's Domain,
the remote users dont have a problem.

A two-way trust exits between the two domain,
and there are no other known issues between
the sites.
I cant find anything in the documentation,
or on TechNet.
And the TS homepage is less than helpfull !!

If anyone can help,
it would be much appreciated.

When you say "when they connect, the TS session freezes", are you saying that a connection is established, but then freezes?

I would guess that there is either a network timeout issue related to drive mappings, or a permissions issue where the Terminal Server users group may have Domain but not local permissions.

Since this is a guess, I'd recommend you try using Filemon to track down the cause.

**Caution, do not run Filemon on a busy server, since it captures ALL file access data**

I hope this helps

Thanks -
I'm pretty sure it's not a network problem,
as when the users log into the local domain,
they dont have any problems.

And yeah, they connect, then freeze...

I'll check the permissions,
and *attempt* to get a quiet time
to test it out with FileMon.

Cheers ;)
