I need to network a few NT 4.0 workstations to local Unix systems. Where is software to install the NT NFS service for networking? I understand Unix NFS and how to install TCP/IP, Novell, etc. settings for NT but does the service for Solaris come on separate cd-rom to install on NT 4.0? If I open Network Properties, Click Services, click Add and view all services it's not listed. Only option from "have disk" ?
Thanks,
Mitch

You could use Samba to use UNIX drives from NT workstations. You can these UNIX drives as if they were on an NT fileserver and they can be backed up with the normal UNIX backups. Printing can also be setup through Samba.

I think what you may be refering to is the Microsoft "Services for UNIX". This is a separate package, not included on NT4 Server because it doesn't work on it. It was written for Windows2000 Server, where it actually does work, much to my amazement. It provides a resonably sincere replication of NFS, a telnet server that works on NT, etc, etc. It's not pricey, cost me £180, about $300.
